Envision Shakopee—a community-oriented, consensus-focused comprehensive planning process for the City of Shakopee—has launched! This planning process is designed to inspire all who live, work, play and learn in the city of Shakopee to take part in defining a clear vision for the future of our city.

Envision Shakopee is in Phase 1: Community Understanding. The team began by defining goals and principles for Envision Shakopee that will frame the comprehensive planning process from start to finish. Now, the planning team is conducting analysis, interviews, and engaging with the community to build a robust understanding of Shakopee’s unique strengths, challenges, aspirations, and vision for the future.
